We have included these few pages to try to give you a quick idea of the Lladró collection's place in the 1,000-year history of fine porcelain and an idea of where you now stand in the past-future continuum.

Most of us are familiar with the Lladró of the "Now". The "Now" is a world made up of creative art, craftsmanship, and technology. Most of us are not inclined to think of the Lladró of the "Future". This perspective requires us to ignore the present and, paradoxically, project ourselves into the "Past". Yet, these notes and accompanied images are compiled as a collection history that will be available to Lladro collectors around the world far into the future.
